DC Kishtwar promotes blood donation at camp

KISHTWAR, April 06: A blood donation camp was organised at District Hospital Kishtwar by the District Health Society under the supervision of Deputy Commissioner, Dr Devansh Yadav, who is also the chairman of the society.

The event saw a massive turnout of people from various walks of life, including army and paramilitary force Jawans, Auxiliary Nursing Midwifery Training students and local volunteers.

In total, 26 blood units were collected during the camp. The Chief Medical Officer Kishtwar, Medical Superintendent of District Hospital Kishtwar, Sham Lal and other medical officers and staff were present at the event.

Speaking at the event, Deputy Commissioner highlighted the importance of blood donation and donated blood himself as well. He thanked the army and paramilitary force jawans for their participation and commended their efforts. He also appreciated the ANMT students and local volunteers for their contribution to the cause.
