Absconder evading arrest since 2016 nabbed in Rajouri

RAJOURI, 15 January 2024: Jammu & Kashmir Police, in its continued drive against absconders, nabbed another absconder in Rajouri, who was wanted in a case but was evading his arrest since 2016.

Absconder has been identified as Asad Mehmood son of Babu Hussain resident of Darhal Malhot of District Rajouri .

Police team of PS Rajouri led by SHO Rajouri raided at different suspected locations and in one such raid arrested the accused absconder from Dhangri area of Rajouri.

The accused was evading his arrest since long in case FIR number 358/2016 of PS Rajouri and a general warrant was issued against him by the Court.
