JAMMU, DECEMBER 14: The Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra swept through block Khour today, igniting vibrant celebrations and earnest hopes among the residents.
Guided by Block Development Officer Dheeraj Sharma, the Yatra received a warm welcome at Government Middle School Dhaleri in panchayat Naryana Upper and Government Middle School Ajaj Malal in panchayat Kaleeth. The departments joined the Yatra, offering on-the-spot services and fostering meaningful interactions.
Local residents, brimming with enthusiasm, flocked departmental camps, engaging with officials and learning about the government’s initiatives aimed at holistic development. The Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra showcased exemplary collaboration, with Health, Social Welfare, NRHM, Agriculture, Animal Husbandry, Industrial & Commerce, ICDS, Revenue, RDD and more joining hands to serve the public.
The ‘Dharti Kahe Pukar Ke’ cultural program pulsated with life, featuring captivating dance performances, poems resonating with the quiz contests testing knowledge of national schemes, awareness speeches highlighting welfare programs, patriotic renditions by students and energising sports competitions. A Health Check-Up camp provided vital medical services, ensuring well-being for all.
Today’s Yatra was a celebration of achievements, honouring women’s empowerment, sporting heroes and academic excellence. As the Yatra concluded in Block Khour, a collective pledge for the country’s development, rooted at the grassroots level, reverberated through the air.
