Local PRIs briefed about Development plan for Aspirational Block Kastigarh

DODA, April 28: Assistant Commissioner Development Doda Phulail Singh, in the presence of Block Development Council Chairman Abdul Gani Batt, today held a meeting with PRIs, field functionaries Aspirational Block Kastigarh and discussed with them the contours of this year’s Development Plan. He also listened to the grievances of Panchayats pertaining to different sectors.

During the meeting the PRIs projected several developmental issues   seeking up-gradation of road and school infrastructure.  The ACD briefed in detail the development plan for the Aspirational blocks and  stated that   the main focus area under this year’s ABDP plan will be the upgradation of schools and Anganwadi infrastructure in addition to the filling of other critical gaps hampering the day to day life of locals.

The ACD also urged the PRIs to ensure that all the pending PMAY cases in their panchayats be immediately completed to pave the way for sanctioning of new targets. He further asked them to put the completed soakage pits into use on priority. “If any soakage pit will be found closed the demand of that job card holder will not be projected in this year” he warned.

 Among others present in the meeting were BDO Kastigarh, ZEO Bhagwah, Principal Hr Sec School Kastigarh, PRIs, besides office staff of RDD were also present.
