ACR Kishtwar inspects special summary revision camps at Mughal Maidan

KISHTWAR, AUGUST 04: ERO 48-Inderwal/ACR Kishtwar, Idrees Lone JKAS, today inspected the special camps organized under the Special Summary Revision of Photo Electoral Rolls 2024 in the 48-Inderwal Assembly Constituency under the overall supervision of District Election Officer DEO Kishtwar Dr Devansh Yadav.

He was accompanied by AERO Mughal Maidan/Tehsildar Mughal Maidan Parvez Ahmed and AERO/Tehsildar Chatroo Shuja Hamid Bandey during the visit.

During the ongoing two-day special camps scheduled on August 3rd and 4th, 2024 across the district, BLOs were tasked with conducting a special drive to enroll/register new voters and update the existing voters’ particulars in the photo electoral register. This included adding, correcting, or deleting entries as necessary.

ERO Idrees Lone, along with the team, visited several polling stations including HSS Chatroo, MS Diller, HS Damber, Panchayat Ghar Nariyan, and MS Horna.

At these locations, they checked documents and forms 6, 7, 8, and 8A and emphasized the importance of accurate entries by the BLOs in the electoral list.

During their visit, the ERO and respective AEROs interacted with voters at the polling centers to discuss the Summary Revision process.

ERO Idrees Lone urged all eligible voters to register during these special camps under the 2nd Special Summary Revision of Photo Electoral Rolls 2024.
