Adarsh Jathiar organises ‘Chabeel’ at Shahidi Chowk for Maharishi Valmiki Ji’s Shobha Yatra
JAMMU, October 14: In a heartwarming gesture to welcome the devotees participating in the Shobha Yatra of Bhagwan Maharishi Valmiki Ji, a special drinking water and biscuits stall (Chabeel) was organized at Shahidi Chowk, Jammu. The event was led by Mr. Adarsh Jathiar, State General Secretary of the BJP SC Morcha, in association with the shopkeepers of Rajinder Bazar.
The Chabeel was set up to offer refreshments to the devotees and passersby as they gathered to participate in the grand Shobha Yatra. Held in honor of Maharishi Valmiki Ji’s teachings and legacy, the event was met with a warm response from the local community.
Prominent attendees included local leaders such as Vijay Anand, Ashok Gandhi, Krishn Kumar Digra, Raj Kumar Shibotra, Raj Kumar Bhagat, Master Jialal, Anil Kumar, Funny, Parshotam Kumar, Nipun Malhotra, and several shopkeepers from Shahidi Chowk. Their presence highlighted the spirit of unity and devotion that marked the celebrations.
Mr. Adarsh Jathiar, speaking about the event, remarked, “The Shobha Yatra is a momentous occasion for us, and we wanted to extend our hospitality to the devotees who have come to seek the blessings of Maharishi Valmiki Ji. Volunteers at the stall worked tirelessly to serve all who visited, ensuring that water and biscuits were distributed efficiently and hygienically. The event continued throughout the day, benefiting both devotees in the Yatra and the local residents passing by.
Krishan Kumar Digra shared, “Our aim was to provide comfort to everyone participating in the Shobha Yatra. It’s fulfilling to see the smiles and gratitude on the faces of those we helped.”
