ADC ADM attends WPRs camp at Bishnah
Listen to their grievances, assures them necessary support
JAMMU, May 4: In order to hear the grievances of WPRs and providing them proper guidance regarding fulfilling the deficiencies of eligible beneficiaries of compensation cases and to expedite the process of pending cases, a special camp was organised for displaced persons of WPRs at village Khairi, Bishnah.
The program was organised as a part of ongoing special camps being conducted at various tehsils in district jammu on the directions of Deputy Commissioner Jammu under the overall supervision of Divisional Commissioner Jammu who aims to ensure that no beneficiary is left out in the process.
The program was chaired by ADC Jammu Sandeep seontra in presence of Tehsildar Bhawani Atri, Naib Tehsildars, PRI members.
President WPR Action Committee 1947 Labha Ram Gandhi was also present in the program who apprised about the WPR grievances in general.
The applicants were apprised about the deficiencies in their cases individually with one on one discussion.
While speaking on the occasion, ADC (ADM) said the initiative is a great platform to deliberate upon the issues related to WPRs of 1947 where both the administration and community members can come together to find solutions to the long pending problems of the community.
Pertinently, district administration has planned similar camps at Tehsil levels so as to provide doorstep public service delivery to WPRs besides carrying out their proper hand holding to uplift their socio economic conditions.
As per the schedule, similar camp will be held at Kanachak in Tehsil Marh on 6th May, Pallanwalan in Tehsil Khour on 8th May and Badyala Chak in Tehsil Jourian on 9th May.
