ADC Bhadarwah finalizes Independence Day arrangements

BHADARWAH, AUGUST 03: Additional Deputy Commissioner (ADC) Bhadarwah, Sudershan Kumar, convened a meeting today to finalize the arrangements for the upcoming Independence Day celebrations. The meeting, held at the ADC’s office chamber, outlined key aspects of the event to ensure a smooth and organized celebration.


During the meeting, it was decided that the VIP guest will hoist the National Flag at 8:55 AM and take the salute at the march-past parade. The parade will feature contingents from the Police, NCC Senior Division, Government Degree College (GDC), NCC Junior Division, Boys Higher Secondary School Bhadarwah, and various government and private schools. The day will commence with the playing of the Shehnai by the Information Department early in the morning.


Additional arrangements discussed included security, first aid, sanitation, fire and emergency services, seating, power supply, drinking water, and the issuance of invitation cards. Department officers were instructed to illuminate their respective government buildings and offices. A full dress rehearsal for the event is scheduled for August 13, 2024, at 10:30 AM.


The meeting was attended by representatives from the 33rd Battalion CRPF, 4th RR, XEN PWD, Accounts Officer BDA, EO MCB, BMO, BDO, AEE Jal Shakti, AEE PMGSY, AEE PDD, ZEO, ZEPO, and other various departments.
