ADC Kishtwar chairs DLTFC meeting
Approves 20 cases, with a total project cost of Rs 178 lakh, involving Margin Money (subsidy) of Rs 60.55 lakh
KISHTWAR, October 17: Under the aegis of the Jammu & Kashmir Rural Employment Generation Programme (JKREGP) by the J&K Khadi and Village Industries Board, the District Level Task Force Committee (DLTFC) meeting was held, here today which was chaired by Additional Deputy Commissioner Kishtwar, Inderjeet Singh Parihar.
GM DIC Dr. Mohamed Ashraf, LDM Pankaj Badani, Manager JKB Grameen, representatives from Cluster Head JK Bank, RSETI, ITI Polytechnic College and Supervisor KVIB Shah Mohd Mir attended the meeting.
During the meeting, the DLTFC interviewed numerous beneficiaries, selecting them for sponsorship in diverse sectors such as Cutting Tailoring Boutique, Sheep farm, Dairy farm, Departmental Store, etc.
Out of 30 applications, the DLTF committee approved 20 cases, with a total project cost of Rs 178 lakh, involving Margin Money (subsidy) of Rs 60.55 lakh.
9 applicants were absent, and 1 case was deferred for the next DLTFC meeting.
This proactive engagement reflects the commitment of Kishtwar’s administration to bolster rural employment and promote diverse industries under the JKREGP framework.
