ADC Leh visit various departments to inspect staff attendance in Leh
Leh, Nov 29, 2024: On the directions of Deputy Commissioner Leh, Santosh Sukhadeve, the Additional Deputy Commissioner (ADC) Leh, Ghulam Mohd (JKAS) conducted surprise visits to various government offices to inspect staff attendance in Leh.
The ADC inspected the various departments including Department of Information, Archives, BDO Leh, Rural Engineering Wing (REW), Tehsildar Office, ICDS, Soil Conservation, Deputy CMO, Food, Civil Supplies and Consumer Affairs, Command Area Development, and the Leh Development Authority.
During the inspection, the ADC directed all concerned departments to install biometric attendance systems at the earliest. He also reviewed attendance registers and existing biometric attendance records across departments.
Emphasizing the importance of discipline and accountability, the ADC instructed all departments to ensure regular and punctual attendance of employees to maintain efficiency in public service delivery.
