ADDC Gbl chairs grievance redressal camp at Shuhama

GANDERBAL, MAY 31: With the purpose to listen to the grievances of people and to ensure immediate redressal, the Additional District Development Commissioner (ADDC) Ganderbal, Mushtaq Ahmad Simnani today presided over a public outreach camp held at Govt High School Shuhama Ganderbal as a part of the weekly Block Diwas programme.

The camp was attended by PRI members of block Ganderbal and prominent citizens who highlighted the issues and demands pertaining to their areas including upgradation of playground of Shuhama, X-ray technician and ambulance services at PHC Shuhama, RTC bus service from Nagbal to Hazratbal via Batapora, fencing of Govt. Middle School Warpoh, installation of street lights at Dignibal, replacement of old pipelines at Warpoh, upgradation of Govt. Middle School to High School, vaccination drive for animals and other demands of public importance.

The ADDC listened to all the issues raised by the public and PRIs and assured them that the demands raised would be taken with concerned departments for prompt redressal.

He urged officers to take immediate action to resolve the issues raised by the public during the event. He also passed necessary directions to the officers for ensuring timely redressal of the genuine concerns and several issues were redressed on spot.

While responding to the grievances, the ADDC assured the public that all their grievances have been documented and all their genuine concerns would be redressed in a phased manner with the intervention of the concerned departments.

The event was attended by CPO, Irfan Giri; ACD, Dr. Bashir Ahmad; BDO Ganderbal besides other district and sectoral officers.
