ADDC Leh chairs DLRC meeting for quarter-ended March 2023
Leh, June 21: On the direction of DC/Chairman, District Level Review Committee, Additional District Development Commissioner (ADDC) Leh, Sonam Nurboo chaired a meeting of the District Level Review Committee and District Consultative Committee (DCC) for the quarter-ending of Leh district at DC conference Hall today.
Lead District Manager Leh, apprised the ADDC about the performances of banks in the priority and non-priority sectors which included agriculture, education, housing, MSME, and other various self-employment schemes including Pradhan Mantri Employment Generation Programme (PMEGP), Kisan Credit Card (KCC), MUDRA, Stand-Up India, PM SVANIDHI, National Rural Livelihood Mission (NRLM), National Urban Livelihood Mission (NULM), Pradhan Mantri Formalization of Micro Enterprises (PMFME). Branch heads of multiple banks informed ADDC about their progress and action plans to improve performance in various sectors.
ADDC Leh advised the banks to submit the action taken report and CD Ratio progress report within the given stipulated time. He further urged the banks to play an active role in raising awareness and mobilization of various schemes at the grassroots level.
Bank-wise performance on Social Security Schemes saturation was also discussed during the meeting. ADDC Leh directed the banks for early resolution of issues pertaining to various pending cases and sanctions of loans in coordination with the concerned departments. He further directed that target set up under Annual Credit Plan (ACP) should be achieved by banks and departments within the given time. Additionally, he stressed that rural banks must ensure the availability of Bank Sakhi appointed by NRLM.
District officers of the concerned departments informed the ADDC about the progress in various government schemes in Leh district and issues faced by applicants in availing these benefits. ADDC stressed on regular monitoring and coordination between the banks and concerned departments so that beneficiaries do not face any issues. Further, discussions were held on the Financial Literacy camps organised by respective banks in the district.
Chief Planning Officer, Leh; Lead District Manager, Leh; Deputy Director, Employment; Executive Officer, Municipal Committee Leh; Chief Horticulture Officer, Leh; Chief Animal Husbandry Officer, Leh; District Agriculture Officer, Leh; Project Manager, Urban Local Bodies, NRLM and officials of various other departments and banks including, NABARD, SBI, J&K, HDFC, PNB, JKGB, BOI, UBI, Yes, IDBI, Canara, Central Bank of India and IDBI bank attended the meeting.
