ADDC reviews execution of beautification project at Rajouri airfield, adjacent road
RAJOURI, MARCH 29: On the directions of Deputy Commissioner Abhishek Sharma, Additional District Development Commissioner Dr Raj Kumar Thapa today reviewed the progress of ongoing beautification project around the Rajouri airfield and its adjacent road here at a meeting.

The Project aims at transforming the area into a visually appealing, pedestrian-friendly zone.
The beautification project, a significant step towards modernising Rajouri while preserving its rich heritage, includes development of 3D murals depicting martyrs, warriors, cultural heritage, tourist places, and prominent institutions, Aesthetic enhancements and landscape development, Greenery and ornamental plantation and Well-structured footpaths to ensure safe pedestrian movement.
At the outset, the Executive Engineer PWD (R&B) informed that plastering work on 200 meters of walls of the project has been completed, with the remaining work progressing as scheduled.
Highlighting the importance of the project, the ADDC Dr. Thapa emphasized its importance in adding to tourist attraction and beautification of the town. He directed the concerned officers to expedite the completion of the project at the earliest.
The review meeting was attended by Chief Planning Officer (CPO) Maqsood Ahmed, District Statistical and Evaluation Officer (DSEO) Sandeep Sharma, EXEN PWD (R&B) Rajouri Sardar Khan, and project contractors.
