ADDC Shopian reviews Ramadan arrangements

SHOPIAN, MARCH 12: The Additional District Development Commissioner (ADDC) Shopian, Dr. Nasir Ahmed Lone today chaired a comprehensive meeting with stakeholder departments at Mini-Secretariat, here to review arrangements and to facilitate people during the holy month of Ramadan across the district.

The meeting stressed on strengthening essential services such as power supply, potable drinking water, cleanliness, availability of essential commodities and market monitoring, and also emphasized on the importance of collaboration among departments to minimize inconvenience to the public.

ADDC directed for constituting team of concerned Tehsildars, Executive Officer of Municipal Committee, Food Civil Supplies and Consumer Affairs, Legal Metrology and Food Safety Officers for conducting joint market checking across the district to check profiteering, black- marketing of essential commodities including mutton, chicken, vegetables and fruits by traders.

SDM, Zainapora was also directed to ensure regular monitoring of market checking in the subdivision.

The Assistant Commissioner, Revenue, Shopian, Shakoor Ahmed Dar; SDM, Zainapora, Nisar Ahmed Wani; CMO, Ex. Engineers and other concerned were present on the occasion.
