ADGP Anand Jain interacts with police personnel in DPL Poonch

POONCH, 18 January 2024: Aanad Jain-IPS Jammu Zone, Jammu visited at District Police Lines (DPL) Poonch and held a Durbar with the Jawans during which gave a patient hearing to the problems/issues of the Jawans.

​The ADGP assured all the participants of early redressal of their grievances/problems and laid stress to work on the militancy front, narcotics and routine general crime and expressed hopes for strengthening the professionalism and day-to-day policing.

On the occasion, the stress was also laid to work with sincerity and dedication and maintain a high degree of discipline, besides, remaining extra vigilant/alert while performing their assigned duties to thwart any evil design of anti-social/anti-national elements.

​Furthermore, the ADGP has assured the participants that all necessary prompt steps whatsoever required for the welfare of the Jawans is being taken. He stressed stringent action against the elements found involved in the drug trade as the menace not only harms the individual but society as a whole.

To strengthen the anti-militancy grid, ADGP Jammu Zone Jammu, today inaugurated the newly established operational unit at Jarran Wali Gali (JWG) which will be headed by Dy.SP (Ops) JWG. He was accompanied by Dr. Haseeb Mughal-IPS DIG R/P Range Rajouri, Shri Vinay Kumar-JKPS SSP Poonch besides other Police/Army /CRPF officers.

​ADGP Jammu Zone also Interacted with the jawans and checked the operational preparedness of the SOG unit. He also stress upon the various troops to have a good police public relations and stressed upon to maintain /generate generic information regarding the movement of the terrorists
