ADGP Anand Jain pays surprise visit to Police Station in Udhampur’s Rehmbal

JAMMU, 12 January 2024: Additional Director General of Police (ADGP) Jammu Zone Anand Jain, IPS visited district Udhampur and conducted a surprise visit to Police Station Rehmbal, to review overall crime in the area.

 ADGP Jammu Zone  Anand Jain, IPS was accompanied by SSP Udhampur Joginder Singh. ADGP Jammu reviewed the records, ensuring proper documentation and adherence to protocols.

He visited the record room and checked the matters related to cyber fraud, and complaints registered on cybercrime portals; and assessed the current state of cybercrime in the jurisdiction.

 He emphasised the importance of maintaining law and order and community engagement, He acknowledged the hard work and dedication of the police officials in maintaining peace and security in the district.

 He issued instructions for conducting crime reviews regularly so that all the complaints are addressed to the satisfaction of the complainant.
