ADGP Mukesh Singh conducts security & crime review meeting in Udhampur

The Additional Director General of Police (ADGP) for Jammu Zone, Mukesh Singh, conducted a comprehensive security and crime review meeting with supervisory officers of district Udhampur.

The meeting, held at the District Police Office (DPO) in Udhampur, focused on addressing heinous crimes and making arrangements for the upcoming Independence Day celebrations.

During the meeting, ADGP Mukesh Singh underscored the significance of handling cases under the Unlawful Activities (Prevention) Act (UAPA) and the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances (NDPS) Act. He emphasized the need to tackle drug abuse and deliberated upon effective strategies to counter the drug menace in the region.

“Quality investigation in cases is paramount,” said Mukesh Singh, stressing the importance of ensuring that all cases are thoroughly investigated and properly followed up until conviction.
