Advisor, UT Ladakh Dr Pawan Kotwal chairs the meeting on the Vibrant Village Program
Leh, Nov. 23: The Advisor to the Hon’ble Lieutenant Governor, UT Ladakh Dr Pawan Kotwal presided over a meeting to deliberate upon key issues concerning the implementation of the Vibrant Village Program in pace towards enhancing sustainable development in Changthang region, with particular emphasis on proposals necessitating the attention of the High-Power Committee chaired by the Union Home Secretary, at the Civil Secretariat, Leh.
The meeting explored the details of the proposed initiatives, addressing challenges, and identifying opportunities to foster sustainable development in the areas of the Changthang region. The central point of the meeting was the identification of proposals requiring the intervention of the High-Power Committee, which is chaired by the Union Home Secretary.
The Advisor Dr Pawan Kotwal directed all the officers and emphasized the identification of proposals necessitating intervention by the High-Power Committee. The officers are further instructed to submit and upload the identified proposals onto the National Portal within two days.
The meeting was attended by Commissioner Secretaries; Administrative Secretaries; Deputy Commissioner, Leh; Directors; Heads of the Departments (HoDs); and concerned officers, while the Joint Director, Information; Director, RDD; Director, and Sheep and Animal Department joined the meeting virtually.
