Advisor UT Ladakh Dr Pawan Kotwal chairs the meeting on Vibrant Village Program
Leh, April 22, 2024: The Advisor to the Hon’ble Lieutenant Governor, Dr Pawan Kotwal chaired a meeting on the Vibrant Village Program (VVP), in the VC conference hall, Civil Secretariat Leh, on Monday.
The meeting was initiated by the Deputy Commissioner, Leh, Santosh Sukhdeve who highlighted the road maps and action plans in a comprehensive presentation, unveiling several projects covered under the Vibrant Village Program.
The prime focus of the meeting was to discuss the submission of 41- New works under the Vibrant Village Program (VVP), the withdrawal of 20 works proposed under VVP, and the Submission of replies of queries of 13- works under VVP. The meeting discussed the way forward for their successful implementation on the ground.
While reviewing the status of the new works under the Vibrant Village Program, the Advisor Dr Kotwal impressed by the key issues regarding the successful implementation of the Vibrant Village Program. Throwing light on the importance of infrastructure and sustainable development, Dr Pawan Kotwal urged the officials to ensure achieving the set goals in the designated villages so that the villages can become ‘Vibrant’ In the true sense. He further stated that the infrastructural developments must be of international standards so that more people are attracted to visit these villages.
