GANDERBAL, JULY 26: IIT Kanpur, in collaboration with Samagra Shiksha, successfully organized a night session program at Shallabugh Ganderbal.

The session, aimed at fostering scientific temperament among students, was held under the guidance of Aamir Sultan, Assistant Project Engineer, IIT Kanpur.

The initiative is part of IIT Kanpur’s AAGHAZ Initiative to enhance scientific understanding and curiosity in students from selected schools across the Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir.

Students eagerly awaited the moonrise, which occurred at approximately 11:15 PM. For many students, it was their first close-up view of the moon, leaving them in awe and sparking a deeper interest in astronomy.

The event was attended by students and teachers from Govt. Girls High School (GGHS) Shallabugh and some locals of Shallabugh who expressed their appreciation for this unique educational experience.
