AHD organises series of awareness camps across Ramban

RAMBAN, MARCH 01: The Animal Husbandry Department Ramban, under the guidance of Deputy Commissioner, Baseer-Ul-Haq Chaudhary, on Friday conducted a series of awareness camps in Magarkoot, Ukhral, Sumber and Kunfer area of the district.

The primary objective of these camps was to educate farmers about different departmental schemes such as IDDS, IPDP, HADP and IFFD.

Additionally, the importance of vaccination and deworming in controlling animal diseases was emphasized by the Veterinary Assistant Surgeons (VAS).

The sessions featured insights from progressive farmers who shared their firsthand experiences as beneficiaries of government-sponsored schemes, highlighting the positive impact on their livelihoods.

Under the leadership of CAHO Ramban, Dr. Suhail Kawoosa the program was efficiently conducted with Dr. Azhar at Ukhral, Dr. Parvaiz at Magarkoot, Dr. Mehrajuddin at Sumber, and Dr. Zahid at Kunfer overseeing the proceedings.

The CAHO said that these awareness camps play a vital role in disseminating knowledge, empowering farmers, and promoting sustainable practices in Animal Husbandry.
