Aluminium futures rise on fresh bets

New Delhi, Jun 16 (PTI) Aluminium prices on Friday increased by 0.76 per cent to Rs 206.10 per kilogramme in futures trade as speculators built up fresh positions amid a positive trend in the spot market.

On the Multi Commodity Exchange, aluminium contracts for June delivery increased by Rs 1.55 or 0.76 per cent to Rs 206.10 per kg in a business turnover of 2,897 lots.

Analysts said fresh positions created by traders amid demand from consuming industries supported aluminium prices in the futures market.
