Amit Shah questions Rahul Gandhi’s Stance over JKNC’s manifesto after their alliance
DELHI August 23: Union Home Minister Amit Shah has challenged Rahul Gandhi to clarify the Congress Party’s position on various public centric issues following their alliance with the National Conference (NC). Taking to X, Shah highlighted the NC’s manifesto, which advocates for the abolition of reservations for Dalits, Gujjars, Bakerwals, and Pahadis. He urged Gandhi to address whether the Congress Party supports these proposed changes, especially after the Modi government’s efforts to end years of discrimination through reservations post the abrogation of Article 370 and 35A.
The Modi govt ended years of discrimination against Dalits, tribes, Pahadis, and backward communities by granting them reservations after the abrogation of Article 370 and 35A.
