Amrit Kalash Yatra held at various Panchayat Halqa of Skurbuchan Block

Leh, Oct. 12, 2023: Amrit Kalash Yatra program as part of the “Meri Mitti Mera Desh’ campaign was held at various panchayat halqa of Skurbuchan Block.

Martyrs’ family members were facilitated during the programme and a plaque was also constructed in panchayat headquarters in memory of Martyrs.

The Amrit Kalash Yatra program started with the national anthem followed by a 2-minute silence in remembrance of Martyrs and a pledge. Barley/soil was collected from door to door of each Panchayat of block Skurbuchan which was further collected in Amrit Kalash at block Headquarters.

The Amrit Kalash Yatra program was attended by PRI members, members of SHGs formed under the National Rural Livelihood Mission, Block Development Council members, staff of various departments, Cadets of the National Cadet Corps, and family members of martyrs.
