Anantnag gathers momentum at Hon’ble PM’s Interaction with VBSY participants
ANANTNAG, JANUARY 18: The visionary leadership of Hon’ble Prime Minister has manifested in the dynamic progress of the Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra (VBSY), witnessed over the past two days in Block Anantnag and Block DachniPora. The enthusiasm peaked in Block Srigufwara, where participants actively attended an interaction with the Hon’ble Prime Minister.
The VBSY IEC Van embarked on a transformative journey across Wanihama, Peth-Dailgam, Shoul, Shamsipora, Ruhoo, Munghall, Hatigam, Viddy, Adlash, Srigufwara, Trail A, Trail B, Liver, Budroo Gram Panchayats, reflecting a surge in community engagement and a shared commitment to regional advancement.
The Yatra, spanning the farthest reaches of the district, has played a pivotal role in disseminating awareness about various government welfare schemes, reaching even the most remote corners. On-ground services such as PM Ujjwala Yojana enrolments, MY Bharat volunteer registrations, and distribution of Ayushman cards have facilitated direct engagement and access to essential social welfare programs.
Citizens actively involved themselves in numerous government schemes during the Yatra, with over 2499 individuals gaining access to clean cooking fuel under the Pradhan Mantri Ujjwala Yojana. Distribution of Ayushman cards extended comprehensive health cover of Rs. 5 Lakhs per family per year to thousands, and more than 94,184 citizens benefited from health screenings conducted at Health Camps during the Yatra.
Additionally, the Yatra facilitated over 222 beneficiaries under the PM SVANidhi scheme and enrolled more than 215 new beneficiaries under PM KISAN, promoting financial independence and agricultural support. The ‘MY Bharat’ initiative witnessed over 16,097 lakh youth registrations, reflecting a significant surge in engagement within the framework of the VBSY.
Today’s efforts signal a promising future, emphasizing the empowerment of every citizen and marking a collective resolve to propel India towards its vision of becoming a developed nation by 2047.
