Andhra: Child killed, 4 injured in Mangalagiri road accident

Amaravathi (Andhra Pradesh) [India], July 14 (ANI): In a road accident that occurred at 8:30 a.m. on Sunday morning, one child died and four others were injured.

The incident happened at the Tenali flyover in Mangalagiri when a car collided with an autorickshaw. The state’s Welfare Minister, S. Savitha, who noticed the accident, immediately stopped and assisted the victims.

The minister ensured that the injured were rushed to the hospital and received proper medical attention. Authorities were also instructed to provide the best medical care to the victims.

Earlier, on July 8, three people, including two women and a boy, were killed, and two others sustained severe injuries in a road accident at Lakshminagar in the Eluru district after a car hit a truck, the police said.

According to the police, the deceased have been identified as Rachabattuni Bhagyasree (26) and Bomma Kamladevi (53) of Bhimavaram, West Godavari district.

The police stated that the deceased were travelling from Hyderabad to Rajavolu by car.

During the journey, the car collided with a truck parked on the road at Lakshminagar in the mandal. While three people died on the spot, Nagashanmuk and the driver, Vamsi, were seriously injured.

Upon receiving the information, Bhimadolu Circle Inspector Ravikumar and Sub Inspector Satish reached the spot.

A case has been registered, and an investigation is underway, the police added.

Additionally, on June 27, in another road accident in Andugulapalem, Vinukonda Mandal, Palnadu district, an Innova car crashed into a tree, resulting in the deaths of three people.

Five others were injured and received treatment at a private hospital.
