Animal Husbandry Department Leh conducts four day Mobile Veterinary Healthcare/Outreach Program in Nyoma Sub-division

Leh, August 12: The Animal Husbandry Department Leh successfully organized a four-day Veterinary Outreach Program from August 7 to August 10 bringing crucial healthcare services and information to the livestock rearers of the region.

The program covered the villages of Kumdok, Rongo, Samad, and Koyul, in which the local communities showed enthusiastic participation. A total of five surgeries were successfully performed in equines.

Participants were enlightened about the ongoing schemes and initiatives of the department helping them take full advantage of the benefits and support offered.

Further Livestock rearers were provided with free-of-cost first aid kits and supplements and they also had the opportunity to address their queries and concerns.
