Animal Husbandry Dept. distributes 3200 krouiler poultry birds under subsidy

Leh, June 27: Animal Husbandry Department conducted a program today to distribute 3,200 of Krouiler poultry birds for establishment of Back Yard Poultry units under subsidy component LAHDC-Leh.

The program was launched by Executive Councillor, Tashi Namgyal Yakzee. 

Executive Councilor (AS) LAHDC-Leh; Director Animal Sheep Husbandry and Fisheries departments UT Ladakh,  Dr. Mohd Iqbal; Chief Animal Husbandry officer-1 ch, Dr. Stanzin Rabgais, and Dr. Shakil Ahmed Poultry Development Officer-Leh. 

The program was attended by 160 beneficiaries from Leh district. Each beneficiary was benefited with 20 birds per unit with a 50% subsidy.
