Anti-encroachment drive intensified in Udhampur

Zero tolerance adopted against illegal occupants: DC

UDHAMPUR, FEBRUARY 01: In continuation to the anti-encroachment drive, District Administration Udhampur has decided to adopt a zero tolerance policy against encroachment on state, Kahcharai and Roshni land.

“With the commitment to adopt zero tolerance against violations, a massive anti encroachment drive has been started   across Udhampur and more than 93669 kanal state land, Kahcharai and Roshni land has been retrieved from the encroachers” said Deputy Commissioner, Krittika Jyotsna.

Giving Tehsil wise details, ACR, Rafiq Ahmed Jaral stated that 16290 kanal State, Kahcharai and Roshni land has  been evicted in Tehsil Udhampur;   22496 Kanal in Tehsil Ramnagar; 19070 Kanal in Tehsil Chenani; 3758 kanal in Majalta; 11358 kanal   in Tehsil Panchari;  5925 kanal  Tehsil  Latt- Marothi, 8187 in Tehsil Moungri and 11676 kanal in Tehsil Basantgarh.

The district administration has activated men and machinery on mission mode to evict the illegal occupants from the state land, Kahcharai and Roshni Land. Appreciating the tireless efforts put in by Revenue officers, the DC asked the officers to leave no stone unturned to retrieve the state land from encroachers.
