Apni Party continues to protest against the administrative inability to ensure adequate supply of essential commodities to the people

Srinagar, June 24: The Apni Party continues its district-level protest demonstrations against the administration’s inability to ensure the availability of vital commodities for the people of Jammu and Kashmir.
The latest in the series of ongoing protests, a demonstration took place on Saturday at the district headquarters in Pulwama, wherein the district president, Ghulam Mohammad Mir, led a protest procession that resonated with slogans demanding an ample supply of essential commodities such as ration, electricity, drinking water, and so on, a party press release issued here said.
The leaders and workers from the district gathered at the district headquarters and initiated a protest demonstration. They carried placards demanding the availability of rations on the Ghats, uninterrupted power service, and sufficient potable water for the people of Jammu and Kashmir. They passionately chanted slogans denouncing the administration’s failure and fervently expressing their discontent, the press note said.
On this occasion, talking to the reporters, Ghulam Mohammad Mir, expressed his discontent with the administration’s failure to provide essential commodities to the people. He said, “The people are currently enduring numerous hardships and inconveniences due to the unavailability of ration, frequent power outages, inadequate water supply to several areas, and various other deficiencies. These issues have significantly impacted the lives of people and caused difficulties and inconveniences for them.”
Mir urged the LG administration to take the necessary measures to ensure a sufficient power supply and an adequate ration quota for consumers. He demanded immediate redressal for the pressing public issues and grievances.
Besides Ghulam Mohammad Mir, the prominent party leaders who were in the rally included Omer Jan, District president of the party’s Youth Wing Syed Tajjala Andrabi, District President Women’s Wing Mtr. Rukhsana Parveen Mahala, Chairman Municipal Committee Pulwama Bilal Ahmad Rather, Block President Ghulam Mohiuddin Gannaie, Advocate Aaqb Malik, Farooq Ahmad Malik, and others.
