Arrangements for celebration of Republic Day-2025 reviewed at Karnah

KUPWARA, JANUARY 07: A meeting of all concerned officers of Karnah Sub Division was held today at Meeting Hall Mini Secretariat Tangdar to review the arrangements for celebration of the Republic Day 2025.

The meeting was convened by Sub Divisional Magistrate (SDM) Karnah, Zaffar Ahmad Lone. He directed all the departments to ensure fool proof arrangements in place so that the National event is celebrated seamlessly in the sub division.

He also emphasized the need for maintaining protocol in seating arrangement and also issued directions to the police department for taking proper protocol of the National Flag and security arrangements.

Arrangements including Power supply, water, sanitation, seating arrangements were also discussed at large, and the concerned departments were directed to ensure these arrangements at the venue well before the beginning of the celebration.

Other arrangements including refreshment, deployment of magistrates, arrangement of cultural programmes, barricading, facility of commentators and availability of fire-tenders were also reviewed.

The meeting was attended by BDO, Tehsildar Karnah, BMO, Engineers from R&B and PHE Karnah, SHO Tangdar and Teetwal and other concerned officers.
