Arrangements for Republic Day celebration reviewed in Poonch 

POONCH, JANUARY 07: Additional District Development Commissioner, Sandesh Kumar Sharma chaired a meeting to review the arrangements for Republic Day celebration 2024 here at a conference hall of Dak Bunglow Poonch.

During the meeting, the ADDC reviewed the ongoing preparations by  different departments.

He also reviewed the arrangements regarding seating, barricading, drinking water and power supply, sanitation, first-aid, fault free PAS, fire-tenders, Media gallery, among others.

The ADDC directed the concerned executive engineers to ensure adequate arrangements of barricading, seating and drinking water supply besides uninterrupted power supply on the day of function. He also passed directions to the concerned officers to ensure ambulance and provision of adequate manpower at the venue of the event. He also directed concerned committee to finalize the themes for cultural items at the earliest.

The ADDC impressed upon the departmental heads to put in place all the necessary arrangements well in time for the smooth and grand celebrations of the National event.

The meeting was attended by CEO Tourism, Dr.Mohd. Tanveer Khan, PO ICDS, AD FCS&CA Department Poonch, District Information Officer Poonch, Vishal Deep Chandan, DYSSO and Concerned district officers.
