Ashok Koul Chairs Meeting To Organize Public Program Celebrating 100th Episode Of PM Modi’s Mann Ki Baat
Vibodh Gupta Stresses People’s Welfare In PM Modi’s Non-political Mann Ki Baat, Reaching Over 100 Crore People In 23 Languages
SRINAGAR, April 28: Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s Mann Ki Baat, a popular radio program that airs across India, is set to mark its 100th episode on April 30, 2023. The show, which began airing in 2014, has become a platform for PM Modi to speak directly to the citizens of India about important issues affecting their daily lives.
To commemorate this milestone, the J&K Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) General Secretary (Org.) Ashok Koul chaired a meeting in S1 Church lane Srinagar to organize a public program. The meeting was attended by BJP J&K General Secretary Vibodh Gupta incharge and incharge Mann Ki Baat program. Koul emphasized that the Man Ki Baat of PM Modi is not politically motivated but aims to promote the welfare of people, and has covered a wide range of topics from weather, environment, cleanliness, various social issues to even examinations.
He cited the example of the famous vegetable “Nadru,” which gained prominence after PM Narendra Modi spoke about it on Mann Ki Baat, leading to increased exports and a boost in the economy for those affiliated with its production. The same goes for saffron or the person who created the solar car, as the PM always talks about the welfare of the people in Mann Ki Baat.
According to a recent survey, the program has been successful in reaching a large audience with nearly 96% of people aware of Mann Ki Baat. Over 100 crore people have listened to the program at least once, with 23 crore people listening regularly and 41 crore people with the potential to convert into regular listeners.
Koul further noted that Mann Ki Baat has been a non-partisan platform and that PM Modi has never discussed political issues in its 99 episodes. He reaffirmed BJP’s commitment to working for the welfare of the people and stated that the program has covered issues that have not been addressed in the past 50-60 years.
In anticipation of the 100th episode, the Incharge for Mann Ki Baat, Mr. ABC, has visited the south and central Kashmir districts to oversee preparations for the upcoming public program. He urged party workers to work with full enthusiasm and ensure that the event is a success.
Mann Ki Baat has been translated into 23 Indian languages and 29 dialects, making it accessible to people across India. The program has become an important tool for the Prime Minister to connect with citizens and promote his vision of a better India.
On the occasion BJP General Secretary Jammu and Kashmir and Mann Ki Baat in charge Vibodh Gupta on the second day of his three-day visit to Kashmir convened a meeting of party workers at Baramullah to review the party’s preparation for the centenary episode of Mann Ki Baat. During the meeting, he strongly asserted that the people of Kashmir are eagerly awaiting the 100th episode of Mann Ki Baat.
Vibodh further asked Kashmir’s party unit to make the 100th episode of PM Narendra Modi’s Mann Ki Baat broadcast a “historic event” on April 30 in all the 47 assembly constituencies of the valley by organizing mega programs at identified polling booths with the participation of at least 100 people in each booth. Festival-like programs should be organized at every constituency to celebrate the 100th episode of Mann Ki Baat, he added.
