Ashok Koul conducts extensive tour of Kishtwar district

Modi govt has done splendid work for J&K people: Koul

JAMMU 8 Dec 2023 : Jammu and Kashmir BJP General Secretary (Organisation) Ashok Koul, on the third day of his tour of different areas of the erstwhile Doda district, chaired a meeting of Mandal Office Bearers of Paddar Mandal in Kishtwar district.

Ashok Koul also chaired ‘Booth Jan Samvad Maha Abhiyaan’ programmes at booth 67 Garh of Massu Panchayat and booth Karthie in Panchayat Jar in Paddar mandal.

He was accompanied by District President Chuni Lal Shan, Parliamentary Constituency Incharge Vipan Sharma, District Prabhari Gajay Singh Rana and other leaders.

Ashok Koul, while Charing the meeting of Mandal Office Bearers of Paddar Mandal, revieved the ongoing organizational and political activities in the mandal. He also sought the details related to the important programmes like ‘Booth Jan Samvad Maha Abhiyaan’ and ‘Vikit Bharat Sankalp Yatra’ in the mandal.

Ashok Koul, in his address, said that BJP has a well knit organizational structure at all levels and the mandal teams are important organ of the party structure. He asked the mandal office bearers to work minutely for the successful conduct of every programme as these provide an opportunity for direct interaction with the people, which can be very effective and fruitful for the party.

Addressing the ‘Booth Jan Samvad Maha Abhiyaan’ programmes, Ashok Koul said the party has planned different programmes to reach at the doorsteps of the people with the development works and welfare schemes of Narendra Modi government, which has done splendid work from 2014 onwards for the J&K people.

In the Jammu and Kashmir UT, lot of development projects have been gifted after the abrogation of Article 370. During this period, it has been emphasized that people from all regions and every section are included in the welfare schemes of the union government. He said that through ‘Booth Jan Samvad Maha Abhiyaan’ programme the party activists have to make people aware about what has been done for their socio-economic upliftment and development of their areas for better facilities of travel, education, healthcare, communication etc. He asked the party activists to identify the people who have not been able to apply for welfare schemes and help them in availing the benefits of the same. He expressed hope that the ongoing programmes will further strengthen the relations between the party and the people across the UT.
