Ashwani calls for time bound release of border land compensation
JAMMU, 2 December: Stressing for time bound release of compensation amount to the people for their acquired land to built border fencing on the International Border, BJP senior leader and former MLA Ashwani Sharma said that the Modi government has already sanctioned the required compensation amount. He asked the concerned authorities for the quick disposal of the issue, while he listened to an issue presented by the border residents during the public darbar.
Ashwani Sharma, accompanied by BJP Health & Medical Cell Convenor Puneet Mahajan, was listening to the problems of a large number of people and various deputations who had reached party office to seek intervention of the former MLA in getting their problems resolved.
Ashwani Sharma said that during the nine and half years of Prime Minister Narendra Modi led government, all the rural areas in Jammu & Kashmir have been developed on the most modern lines. He said that the power, agricultural & other infrastructure as well as road connectivity has also put a check on the population migration to the urban areas in search of amenities and employment opportunities.
Deputations and individuals belonged to RS Pura, Bishnah, Arnia, Talab Tillo, Majua, Kotli Charakan, Shiv Nagar, Nagrota and other areas.
A deputation of farmers from Majua, Bishnah requested for the grant of ownership rights of the agricultural lands gifted by Maharaja Pratap Singh.
Various other deputations presented different issues like road connectivity at Bishnah to Kotli Mia Fatah, construction of road from Bishnah to Kotli Charakan, repair of lanes & drains, installation of transformers & electric poles etc.
Ashwani Sharma took up the public issues with the concerned department officials for their solutions. He made the telephonic and written communications for the same.
Puneet Mahajan, who steered the darbar proceedings, shared that many of the problems raised by the deputationists were resolved on the spot. He said that their problems were listened to patiently and taken up with the senior officials of the concerned departments for proper and early redressal.
