Assam Rifles with sub-district administration organise ‘Meri Maati Mera Desh’ campaign in Arunachal’s Longding
Longding (Arunachal Pradesh) [India], October 22 (ANI): Assam Rifles collected soil from remote locations of the Longding district of Arunachal Pradesh and organised Amrit Kalash Yatra under ‘Meri Maati Mera Desh’ campaign along with the District and Sub District Administration staff at Kanubari, Arunachal Pradesh on Saturday.
Additional Deputy Commissioner (ADC) Techu Aran also participated in the campaign organised at Kanubari tehsil in Longding district.
The program was smoothly conducted in the presence of the company commander of Assam Rifles and the ADC of Kanubari Sub-district.
The program was highly appreciated by ADC and other officials of the government administration.
The locals of the area also participated with enthusiasm in the program.
Meanwhile, the Assam Rifles under its initiative organised an “A day with company commander” event with schools of Vijaynagar Circle on October 20, with an aim to give more exposure to the school students of rural and far-flung areas.
Assam Rifles have always been at the forefront of reaching out and carrying out various activities to impart education to the students of border areas.
A total of 120 students and 20 teachers participated in the event and various activities were organised.
The students and teachers expressed their deep gratitude for the event and activities organised. Since this kind of event has never been organised in the history of Vijaynagar.
They appreciated the efforts and hard work invested by Assam Rifles in imparting education to the school students of Vijaynagar.
