Awareness programme on RNTCP held at DH Bandipora
BANDIPORA, APRIL 19: An awareness programme on the Revised National Tuberculosis Control Programme (RNTCP) was held today at District Hospital (DH) Bandipora to educate healthcare workers about the tuberculosis prevention and treatment strategies.

Speaking on the occasion, Medical Superintendent DH Bandipora highlighted the objectives of the programme and emphasized the importance of timely diagnosis and adherence to treatment under the RNTCP scheme.
He called for collective efforts to eliminate TB from the district.
On the occasion, AYUSH Medical Officers threw light on the role of AYUSH medicines in boosting immunity and supporting TB care. They also discussed integrative approaches to patient management through traditional medicine.
Among others, the programme witnessed participation from hospital staff and health workers.
