Awareness programmes under SVEEP held across Banihal

RAMBAN, MARCH 25: In a dedicated effort to foster voter awareness and maximum participation in election process, District Administration  Ramban today organized  series of programmes under the Systematic Voters’ Education and Electoral Participation (SVEEP) initiative.

The event, held in the Sub-division Banihal, aimed to engage citizens actively in the electoral process and promote a sense of civic responsibility as voters.

Held under guidance of District Election Officer, Ramban,   Baseer-Ul-Haq Chaudhary, the initiative underscored the paramount importance of robust civic engagement in shaping the democratic fabric of society. Youth, general public and election staff, demonstrated remarkable enthusiasm and participation throughout the programme.

Resource Persons and members of  district SVEEP cell disseminated  objectives of SVEEP at key locations like railway station, bus stand Banihal, and other targeted areas. Through comprehensive presentations, they elucidated the significance of inclusive voter participation in upholding democratic principles and strengthening the electoral process.

Assistant Commissioner Panchayat, Ashfaq Kanji, who is also   District Nodal Officer (DNO) for SVEEP,  played a pivotal role in ensuring the seamless execution of the programme.
