B2V-5 Programme in full swing across Baramulla

Gram Sabhas, public interactions held; issues of public importance discussed

BARAMULLA,  November 08: The fifth phase of the ‘Back to Village’ programme is in full swing across Baramulla district with all the visiting officers conducting public outreach programmes in all 101 Panchayats across the district to take on spot appraisal of the issues and grievances of people.

Various Panchayats in Pattan, Sopore, Tangmarg, Rafiabad, Uri, were covered today under the supervision of the visiting officers, listening to the aspirations of the people and taking feedback to ensure effective implementation of developmental schemes and highlight their issues and grievances to the higher ups.

During the programme, visiting officers held scores of Gram Sabhas and informed people about the centrally sponsored and state-run schemes for the welfare of the general public.

Meanwhile, for the successful and smooth conduct of Phase 5th of the Back to Village programme, Deputy Commissioner Baramulla, Dr Syed Sehrish Asgar has directed all departments to work in coordinated approach during a preparatory meeting recently held to discuss its action plan.
