B2V5: DC State Taxes Listens Developmental Aspirations of People at Sheerabad Khore Pattan
Inaugurates various developmental Projects; Distributes Sanction Letters/ Certificates among Eligible Beneficiaries
BARAMULLA, November 14: The Deputy Commissioner, State Taxes Farooq Ahmad Baba who was Visiting Officer for Agri Kalan, Sheerabad Khore Pattan held a public outreach programme and listened to the core issues and demands of people.
During the two days visit, an open discussion was held wherein the people presented their demands and grievances for speedy disposal. The demands and grievances put forth by them were pertaining to various departments including Jal Shakti, R&B, PDD, Education, Health, Social Welfare and other concerned Departments for which they sought the intervention of the Visiting Officer for early redressal.
Taking cognizance of the grievances raised by the general public, the visiting officer reiterated that all grievances will be taken up with the concerned quarters for timely and early action.
Meanwhile, during the programme, various colorful cultural items were presented by the students which got quite applause from the participants.
Sports activities were also organized wherein a cricket match was played between the girl students.
An oath ceremony was also organized wherein all participants were administered a pledge regarding corruption free Nasha Mukt and Swachta programmes.
On the occasion, the Visiting Officer also inaugurated various developmental projects of public importance including the Food Store, Amrit Sarovar Pond and other projects. He also handed over keys to the eligible household beneficiaries under PMAY G Scheme.
Similar public outreach programmes were also held in other parts of Baramulla wherein the respective visiting officers held scores of Gram Sabhas and informed people about the centrally sponsored and UT run schemes for the welfare of the general people.
