Bandipora Police apprehends drug peddler, seizes contraband Charas

In a continued effort to combat the drug menace in the region, the Bandipora Police apprehended a drug peddler at Sadunara. They successfully recovered a substantial amount of contraband substance, identified as Charas, from his possession.

The swift action was taken under the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances (NDPS) Act, and the case has been registered at the Sumbal Police Station.

Acting on specific information, a police team from Sadunara conducted a search operation and intercepted the suspect. During the search, they discovered contraband substance identified as Charas.

The arrested individual is now in police custody and is being thoroughly investigated. Further investigation is underway to identify and dismantle any associated networks involved in the drug trade.
