Bandipora police arrest drug peddler, seize contraband psychotropic drugs

Motorcycle linked to crime also confiscated in Kaloosa operation

In a proactive move against the growing menace of drug trafficking, Bandipora Police has successfully arrested a drug peddler in Kaloosa, accompanied by the recovery of a substantial quantity of the psychotropic drug Sposmo Proxyvon plus capsules.

The operation carried out under the purview of the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances (NDPS) Act, marks a significant stride in the ongoing battle against illicit substances.

Police also seized the motorcycle allegedly used in the commission of the crime. This seizure not only bolsters the case against the apprehended individual but also underlines the comprehensive approach taken by Bandipora Police in dismantling networks involved in drug-related offenses.

The suspect, now facing charges under the NDPS Act, will undergo legal proceedings.
