Bandipora police arrest drug smuggler, seize 1.3 kg of Charas

Bandipora Police scored a significant victory in their fight against drug trafficking with the arrest of a smuggler identified as Khursheed Ahmad Waza. The arrest took place near Ranger-Khan crossing in Bandipora.

According to reports, Waza, son of Ghulam Ahmad and resident of Ward No. 5 Bandipora, had a substantial quantity of illegal drugs at the time of his apprehension. Police successfully recovered 1.3 kilograms of Charas powder from him.

Police have taken cognizance of the matter and registered a case under the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances (NDPS) Act at the local police station.
