Baramulla police arrest drug peddler, seize 105 grams of charas
In a continuing effort to curb the drug menace in the region, Baramulla Police arrested a suspected drug peddler and seized 105 grams of contraband charas-like substance on Friday, February 2nd, 2024.

During a routine check, police intercepted a suspicious individual, a resident of Sultanpora. Upon searching him, the officers recovered 105 grams of a substance believed to be charas.
A case has been registered against the notorious drug peddler under relevant sections of the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances (NDPS) Act.
Police are currently investigating the source and intended destination of the seized drugs. Further details regarding the case are expected to be released by the authorities in due course.
