Baramulla police arrest drug peddler, seize 15 grams of brown sugar

In a continuing effort to curb the drug menace in the region, Baramulla police arrested a suspected drug peddler and seized 15 grams of brown sugar-like substances today.

The arrest occurred at a checkpoint established in Khaitangan, where a police party led by the In-charge of Police Post Delina intercepted a suspicious individual. Upon noticing the police, the man attempted to flee but was apprehended tactfully.

A case under relevant sections of the law has been registered at Police Station Baramulla, and an investigation is underway
