Baramulla police nabs drug peddler in Nambla Uri, recovers contraband and cash
In a significant crackdown on the illicit drug trade, the Baramulla Police apprehended a drug peddler in Nambla Uri and seized a substantial amount of contraband along with cash.

Acting on a tip-off, a team of officers from the Baramulla Police conducted a targeted operation in Nambla Uri. During the operation, they successfully apprehended the suspect who was identified as a notorious drug peddler in the area.
Upon searching the individual, authorities recovered approximately 4.20 kilograms of cannabis powder-like substances from his possession. In addition to the contraband, a sum of ₹2000/- in cash was also confiscated, believed to be proceeds from the illicit drug trade.
Further investigations are underway to identify the source of the drugs and apprehend any associates involved in the peddling operation.
