Baramulla police seize properties worth Rs 60 lakh of notorious drug peddlers
In a significant crackdown, Baramulla Police have taken a strong step against drug trafficking in the district by attaching properties worth approximately Rs 60 lakh belonging to two identified drug peddlers.
The attached properties include a single-story residential house and a double-story shopping complex with two separate washrooms.
The accused, Mohd Ayoob Shah and Ghulam Mohammad Shah, also known as Gulshah, are sons of Abdul Khaliq and residents of Ladoora Rafiabad in Baramulla district.
The police action was taken under sections 68-E read with 68-F (1) of the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances (NDPS) Act of 1985.

The properties attached by the police are believed to be assets acquired through illicit means by the accused individuals, who have been identified as prominent figures in the local drug trade.
