Baru asks JDA to shift plots near Revenue Complex
JDA should immediately remove the plots allotted between the road near Revenue Complex at Gole Gujral in Jammu(west) Assembly Constituency, stated BJP senior leader and former JMC Councillor Sanjay Kumar Baru during the tour along with BJP district secretary Raj Kumar Sharma, Sarpanch Sr. Avinash Singh and social leader Ramesh Bakshi.
Sanjay Kumar Baru while interacting with the locals during the tour of the area was listening to the problems faced by them.
Local Residents raised the issues like Black topping of lanes, transportation, Street lights, the vicious cycle of filth and the breeding ground for communicable diseases due to the collection of the dirty water because of an absent drainage system .
A representation comprised of local people also requested the senior BJP leader to ensure the opening up of the blocked main approach road by the JDA, connecting to the residential colony at camp Gole Gujaral, Shree Rama Chandra mission, village Khearian, Trilokpur, Seora, Ranjitpur, Khanpur, Nandani, Raipur Jagir, Power Grid Station. The representation comprising of the people from these villages said that already the instructions to open up the road were given to JDA, but no action was taken. They also said that besides the public the Power Grid authorities also expressed serious concern on closure of this road in a communication to the Divisional Commissioner, Jammu. Now, they requested the senior BJP leader that the construction of the road by the PHE department requires the NOC from the JDA department and asked for his help in this grave issue.
He assured the local people that he will immediately take up the matter with the concerned department officials and added that under the Modi government, the long pending public issues are being addressed as per the aspirations of people.
Sr. Gian Singh, Ashok Sharma, Mushtaq Ahmed, Yog Raj Sharma, Prof. Razaq, Kaku Ram, former Panches, Lamberdar, local residents and others accompanied Baru during the tour.
