‘Basti Sampark Abhiyaan’ strengthened SCs ties with BJP:  Munish Sharma

JAMMU, October 02: Expressing his pleasure over the massive response to party’s week long ‘Basti Sampark Abhiyaan’, Jammu and Kashmir BJP senior leader and former General Secretary, Munish Sharma, said that it provided an opportunity to reach maximum population of the SCs as the party activists from state to mandal and ward levels were in various localities under the campaign.

Munish Sharma said that under ‘Basti Sampark Abhiyaan’, the BJP had drawn a programme for direct interaction with the members of the Scheduled Caste (SC) category and the party activists were required to visit the localities housing the population of this class. They were also asked to pay visit to the families, share with them the programmes and policies of the party as well as the union government under PM Narendra Modi, aimed at their socio-economic upliftment and enable them to lead dignified life.

He said that the feedback, as received from the party activists at different levels has been very positive as the SCs have appreciated the welfare schemes launched by Narendra Modi government has benefitted them a lot and their lives changed to great extent. They were of the view that while availing the financial help, there was no agent or middle man and the money reached directly into their bank accounts through DBT mode.

This campaign has strengthen the ties of the BJP with the SC community, he claimed.

Munish Sharma. meanwhile, appealed the SCs to not get misled by the false propaganda of the parties like Congress, NC and PDP and strengthen BJP through their support and vote.
