Bhaderwah Campus celebrates 75th Republic Day with Enthusiasm
BHADERWAH, January 26: In a spirited celebration marking the 75th Republic Day, the Bhaderwah Campus witnessed a patriotic fervor as Rector Prof. J P Singh Joorel unfurled the tricolor alongside Lt Col Sameer, 2IC 4 RR. The event took place in the presence of a gathering of students, faculty, teaching , non-teaching staff and esteemed guests from the Indian Army .
Addressing the assembly, Rector Bhaderwah Campus, Prof. J P Singh Joorel, emphasized the significance of the day and called upon the participants to actively contribute to the betterment of society. He urged everyone to work towards making the nation proud by collectively striving for progress and prosperity. Prof. Joorel paid homage to the Armed Forces, acknowledging their sacrifices for the safety and security of the nation.
Highlighting the importance of Republic Day, Prof. Joorel underscored the need for unity and collective efforts to uphold the principles of democracy. He also spoke passionately about women empowerment, stating that by empowering women, India is on the path to becoming a developed nation where women play a pivotal role.
Rector Bhaderwah Campus said that today’s event was a testament to the patriotic spirit and commitment to the nation’s growth and development. The Bhaderwah Campus remains dedicated to fostering a sense of responsibility and national pride among its students and faculty.
Lt Col Sameer, 2IC 4 RR, also addressed the gathering and stressed the role of education as a medium for the betterment of India. He encouraged the audience to prioritize education and contribute to the nation’s progress through knowledge dissemination.
As part of the celebration, students from Little Angels School and School of Education ( B Ed) Bhaderwah Campus presented a cultural program, showcasing the rich and diverse heritage of the nation. The cultural program depicted the unity in diversity and the unique cultural tapestry that binds the people of India together.
